– At 5.30pm, the Book Café at the Fife Ave Shopping Centre in Harare hosts Edith Katiji + “So What?” — afro traditional with some classic oldies and brand new originals! Featuring lead singer and one of Zimbabwe’s few women bassists, Edith Katiji.
– Victor Kunonga performs his timeless originals at the Manneberg (Fife Avenue Shopping Centre in Harare) from 10pm.
-At 8pm, Mawungira eNharira will be at the Book Café (Mbira — always versatile!)
December 19
– At 2-5pm, it’s the BOCAPA Xposure open mic afternoon at the Book Café (This is a platform for aspiring artistes to show off their talent & potential).
– Sunrise, afro jazz emerging from the City of Kings will be at the same venue at 5.30pm.
– Diaspora Party at the foremost lounge Symphony along Samora Machel Avenue in Harare.
– Magamba presents Mashoko!! — the spoken word event, a combination of spoken-word poetry, hip-hop and live music to feed the mind and ease the soul, at the Mannenberg at 3pm.
– Female South African DJ Cndo will be spinning the discs at the Stars nightclub.
– Transit Crew will be at Book Café churning out reggae for the soul. Show starts at 8pm.
