Heartening letter to single ladies

As in Elijah’s days, when the moral outlook was at its blackest there were yet hidden and inconspicuous men who still revered and trusted God, so it is in every age. God always has some faithful remnant.
By them His worship is kept alive, and through them His purpose moves on unceasingly towards fulfillment. The preservation of honourable and sanctified marriages in every age is definitely part of His purpose for He uses the marriage between a husband and his wife as a visible representation of the relationship between Jesus Christ (the groom) and the church (his bride).
Dear sisters, I write to help and hearten you in view of your marriage amidst the moral change and chaos characterising this our day. You should be calling to God, like King David, saying, “Help, Lord, for the godly are no more; the faithful have vanished from among men” (Psalm 12:1). Ladies, there are two facts you can glean from David’s prayer.
First is the fact that men that keep their promises to marry you and love you always are a rare breed. Proverbs 20:6 bares it all, “Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?”
The second fact is that only God can help you find the faithful man whose love is unfailing and unfading. The secular world and the sacred church are both destitute of faithful men. But God has plenty of them in His quiver. He declares this truth in Romans 11:4, “I have reserved men who have not bowed the knee.” Ignore those people saying to you, “Everyone is doing it, it is longer fashionable to be a virgin nowadays, and above all women are more than men.”
Believe that God has faithful men in His reserve bank who have not succumbed to peer pressure nor to illicit sex. But how can you find one? Check  for the secrets in the next article.
