Jehovah Shamma — God Who is there!

This wonderful passage depicts the omnipresence of God.
God was with Israel as His chosen nation to defend her from her enemies, mount Seir . At the same time, He was in the midst of mount Seir to watch their moves, plots, and schemes as well as to judge them for their hatred of Israel.
More often than not our foes plot against us, supposing that we shall fall an easy prey. But God is there. His name Jehovah Shamma suggests His unsleeping watchfulness over us, to defend and uphold us His children and our goods. His ever-presence to us is a shield from the poisonous arrows of our aggressive foes. On the other hand His ever-presence to our enemies is meant for  their overthrow.
This week’s message is intended to comfort and hearten those beloved brethren who are under unnecessary pressure from hardcore satanic agents and those who are innocently and currently undergoing persecution allowed by God so that He can get the glory, and they get joy from it.
Be assured, as in the case of Job, that God is pleased with your integrity and righteousness but your adversaries, like Haman, are displeased with your righteousness and are determined to send you to the gallows.
It is recorded in the Parable of the Sower, in Matthew 13:21, that tribulation and persecution arises for the sake of the word of righteousness sown in your heart. Enemies persecute you not for the evil you have done but for the good you have done or the good you have in store for the future. It is the law of antagonism at work,  for instance light and darkness cannot harmonise; to defend and uphold the one is to attack and overthrow the other. In fact, you are the light of the world and darkness cannot comprehend you. Has it not yet dawned upon you that the deportment of the righteous is a constant rebuke to the sinner’s peace? They are persecuting you because you are not a yes-man to their obnoxious objectionable behaviour. Your integrity is incompatible with their timidity and your virtue is an incarnate insult to their vice. Boy, they want you out of their system. But, do not panic. Hold your bearings, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. God is in their camp hearing all their plots of evil against you. If only you could remain unalarmed , and restfully trust in Jehovah Shamma you would see the glory of God. You would see the undefeatedness of God. Your very eyes will watch your Haman (foe) die in your place. Only examine yourself and be sure you are not in controversy with God or with any of your persecutors.
If you are innocent, be prepared to watch the drama that is about to unfold. Once you are conscious of His omnipresence and your integrity, watch your story now take an interesting twist. God was all along waiting for you to adopt this attitude of trust and confidence in His ever- presence. Now, behold your enemies fall into their own traps. Psalm 2 says that why do the heathen rage and the people imagine vain things against God and His anointed?
It goes on to say that God who sits in the heavens shall laugh and shall have them in derision. Jehovah Shamma is laughing at your enemies because they are scheming against you right before His eyes.
He will surprise them with an unorthodox strategy that will render their tried and trusted weapons useless to you. Consequently, they will know that they plotted against you in vain as Jehovah Shamma, who is for your defence and their defeat, was there when they were plotting against you. Rejoice in your divine safety and reject the appearance of things.
