Moonlight forge strategic alliance with SA firms

 Moonlight has played a pivotal role over the years in helping facilitate growth in the Funeral Assurance and Funeral Service industry.

Moonlight Provident Associates (Pvt) Ltd’s subsidiary Moonlight (Pty) in South Africa has forged a strategic alliance with IEnsure Pty an Insurance Administrator and Brightrock Life Assurance Ltd. 

Moonlight (Pty) has been in South Africa for the past 5 years and is now strategically poised to grow its book in that region and Africa with enhanced benefits from the New Underwriter, while clients maintain the same low premium they have been paying before.

Moonlight is in the process of notifying its clients on the enhanced benefits and other added services which clients can now add onto their policies.

Moonlight (Pty)’s major business is Repatriation of human remains from anywhere in the World to anywhere in the World.  The Zimbabwean entity also does repatriations to anywhere in the world. South Africa is strategic in that there is a high presence of Zimbabwean Diasporans and Other Diasporans from other African countries and the world at large.  Zimbabwean Diasporans can take up policies to cover themselves and those at home through the Moonlight Tinokunda Repartriation Plan.

Our current policyholders are going to get enhanced benefits courtesy of our new Administrator and Underwriter.  For example a client who had a policy cover for R28 000 is going to be upgraded to R40 000 while paying the current premium.

Moonlight (Pty) chief executive officer Roger Nakhozwe says they are in the process of notifying all current Moonlight South African policyholders of the changes and the enhanced policy upgrades.

In Zimbabwe Moonlight has the widest network of over 46 Branches and it does not matter where a policyholder comes from we can repatriate and use a local branch to do the local services.
