Place others ahead of your agenda
Real effectiveness hinges upon seeing the cause at hand as more pertinent than what you aspire to achieve as an individual. A true leader strives at being the greatest servant of the institution.
A real leader goes the extra mile so that the mission of the establishment is met. He does not load it upon the followers. Instead, a leader offers an example that is emulated by others.
As long as you still wish for respect from the title you hold, you haven’t fully graduated to be leadership material.
Remember that leadership is not position, title or the hefty salary that one gets.
Leadership is service- period. To what degree are you prepared to serve others?
Be driven by the desire to proffer solutions to others. Nothing is more important the world over than leaders who are prepared to offload their all in service to humankind.
The need you see in a situation doesn’t require a follower to address it. Instead, it calls for your initiative.
The world is fed up with so-called leaders who never rise to the occasion and engage in those things they are called upon to do.
These types of leaders are worried about the security of their positions instead of looking at how best they can improve the bottom-line.
In the dispensation we are passing through nationally and even internationally, men and women are called for who empty their very selves and put the interests of others ahead of everything else.
As long as you are not prepared to do that, go back to leadership school for additional lessons.
