Receive you the Holy Ghost

Of course, you are a child of God if you are born again and eternal life is yours, nobody cannot take these away from you; but where spiritual dyn-amism and charisma are concerned  you will be found wanting.
Why? Simply because spiritual dynamism and charisma are not found in John’s baptism, but in the Spirit’s baptism.
Paul came to Ephesus and found certain disciples there and “He said unto them, Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost” (Acts 19:2).
Paul probed further, “And he said unto them, Unto what baptism then were you baptised? And they said, Unto John’s (water) baptism” (Acts 19:3).
Water baptism is good as an outward show of an internal conversion to Christ, but when you desire the miraculous power of God to be an effective witness of Jesus Christ you must receive the Holy Ghost.
Acts 1:8 says, “But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witness…”
What happened after Paul laid hands upon those Ephesian disciples? “The Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied” (Acts 19:6).
Speaking with tongues and prophesying are part of the package the Holy Ghost brings into your life at Spirit baptism.
Now, do you desire to receive the Holy Ghost right now? Let me first clear the ground for you lest you be hindered unnecessarily.
Firstly, you must be born again, the Holy Ghost only comes upon believers as the opening scripture points out that the Holy Spirit was to be received by those who believe on Jesus Christ (John 7:39).
If you are not born again, forget it. Secondly, know that the only reason, believers were not given the Holy Ghost when Jesus walked the earth was that he needed to be glorified first, that is he had to be resurrected and ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father before ‘another comforter’, which is the Holy Ghost, could come down to earth.
Since He did come on the day of Pentecost and is here right now, nothing should stop you from receiving Him now.
Invite Him now. Do not let the devil tell you that you need to be totally holy before you receive Him. If you become totally holy without the Holy Ghost then why do you need the Holy One?
You cannot be holy without receiving the Holy Spirit. With childlike faith, ask Jesus to baptise you with His Spirit immediately.
Just receive as simply as you received Christ when you got born again. The way to receive is to just believe that when you invite Him into your heart He comes.
Immediate speaking in tongues usually accompanies His en-try, but if this initial evidence is not immediate, do not doubt it will come later as long as you keep expecting.
Increase your cap-acity and frequency of praise and worship alone and He will manifest sooner.
Praise and worship keeps your mouth open to allow the Spirit to speak through you. Remember, it is your mouth that speaks, but the utterance (words) will come from the Holy Ghost and not from your mind.
