Resolving Personal & Spiritual

It was also established that God is not to blame for unfulfilled desires but the two major delays in the fulfillment of desires are lust for worldly things and the erection of obstacles and barriers in one’s mind, which results in double-mindedness.
In this week’s article, we would want to locate scriptures that prove that God is more than willing to grant all our desires. You will be shown what you need to do to have your desires abundantly satisfied and needs sumptuously supplied.

The opening scripture is one proof that shows that God is ready to abundantly satisfy His children with the fat things and pleasures from His house. That means His storehouse is full with good gifts and pleasant things waiting to given to His children.
Psalms 84:11-12 says God gives grace and glory, no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
If you want good and perfect gifts go to God who gives generously and liberally without reproach.
Psalms 107:9; 63:5 and 103:5 have one thing in common, and that is the definite divine promise to satisfy you with good things to the extent that you will just find yourself praising and worshipping God with joyfulness and gladness of heart.
If you want more scriptures, here is another powerful one: “And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought and make fat your bones: and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose water fail not,” (Isaiah 58:11).
In other words you will not experience lack and want throughout the year. There will be no more dry season in your life.
The scriptures are plenty but to mention the last few; second Peter (Chapter One) says His divine power has already given unto good things that pertain to life and godliness. This is shocking. It means that all things that we need or ever need in this life are already available for us.
Anything that has to do with life, such as a good house, wonderful life-partner, nice cars, finances, good relationships and even luxurious and recreational provisions, are available.
Let me end with Mat-thew 7:11, which reads: “If you then who are evil know how to give good things to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father give to them who ask him?
Now our earthly fathers supply our needs out of their poverty and limitations but our Heavenly Father supply all our needs out of His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
With all these scriptural promises by God to meet our needs and satisfy our desires, you are kindly asked to boldly resist and reject any suggestion, notion or preaching that tells you that you have to live forever with unfulfilled de-sires. In fact, Apostle rightly says your desires have already been satisfied.
This is the truth about the matter because it agrees with the Genesis account of abundant provision before creation of man.
So what can you do to ensure you get all your needs supplied and desires satisfied?
Firstly, choose to be God’s child in thought and action. Since God’s storehouse is full with good things for his children, it means the moment you become His child you automatically qualify for His supply.
You may argue that you are a church member who follows all tenets and rules faithfully, but still you have unfulfilled desires.
I want to correct you; you can keep all the prescribed rules, rituals, doctrines and dogmas from an external standpoint and still think negatively and destru-ctively.
Reject the orphan mindset of yours. Repudiate that servant mentality. Accept and affirm your sonship status now. Think, speak and act from the standpoint of God’s child and you will realise that all of God’s good things are kept from strangers because they are children’s bread. They are reserved for you.
No matter how much money or how many good things strangers and unbelievers can amass for themselves, they still have no access to the hidden treasures and riches in secret places reserved for God’s own children. Silver and gold belong to your father. The cattle on a thousand hills belong to your father in heaven.
Not to mention Psalms 24, which tells us that the whole earth is the Lord’s and all its fullness.
Sister, as long as you believe the statistic that says women are more than men in this nation and you accept that that is your reason, then you are delaying yourself and that is a self-inflicted pain.
A child believes the father still has some more in his quiver for you. However, many fail to enjoy their father’s supplies due to disobedience and sin.
If God cast his first son Adam out of plenty into penury due to disobedience, and if He is no respector of persons, then beware that secret sin might be the reason for your endless suffering.
Secondly, make God Himself your all-consuming desire like King David (Psalms 73:25) and you will find that His desires and your desires will agree, and granting you will become automatic and speedy as Jesus always received speedy answers on earth.
Thirdly, as a new-born baby always desires the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2).
Desiring God’s word above other things ensures fulfillment of every other desire. The fourth step is to desire one thing at a time.
David wrote in Psalms 27:4, that he desired one thing and he sought after it. Remember a desire is not a wish, you need to diligently seek its fulfillment.
Half-heartedness and double-mindedness will not help you in the pursuit of your desires.
Finally, lay your desires before God (Psalms 38:9) and ask Him to meet them. He will not disappoint you because everyone who delights in the Lord and walks uprightly will never want for anything as his desires will be granted.
