Riaad Moosa set for a two legged tour

THEY say laughter is the best medicine and in as far as Harare is concerned then this August can be declared an overdosed month, or is it?

This time around award winning comedian, actor, presenter and professional medical doctor Riaad Moosa returns to Zimbabwe for two day comedy affair.

Hard on the heels of Anne Kansime’s sold out show at the Harare International Conference Centre is also news that Mr Park Bean is in Harare.

Moosa is will reignite his relationship with fans in Harare at the Harry Margolis Hall on the August 26 before making a debut performance at the Academy of Music in Bulawayo the following day.

Dubbed Lets Laugh Again Harare, the performance will be the comedians second in the capital after his last show in June 2015.

The comedian took to social media to announce the Harare and Bulawayo shows.

“I’m so excited that I will be kicking off first two dates of my Riaad Moosa Live Africa tour in Zimbabwe on the August 26 and 27,” reads part of the post on his official Facebook page.

Event organisers reveled that all preparations were in order also assuring comedy lovers and fans that a well-managed event.

“All preparations are set and all that we await now is Riaad’s arrival, the event will run on time with food and drinks only, there will be no alcohol at the show, it’s a family show, “ Clint Robinson, the organiser said.

Moosa who is a doctor by profession started stand-up comedy as a student at University of Cape Town before winning the One City, Many Comics Talent Competition in September 1999 and is currently producing the world first funny medical educational show titled #DOC or Doctor on Call’ with the first few episodes having been launched at the beginning of the year.
