The prayer of faith

Praying the prayer of faith does not necessarily mean that the answer is seen or felt immediately. God may do this instantly or gradually, but one thing is certain: God will answer the prayer of faith.” In other words there should be no uncertainty or doubt in the heart of the one praying this kind of prayer as his prayer is based on the known will of God concerning the situation he finds himself in. This kind of prayer called Euchomai is so positive and powerful that it will produce the desired results. In the area of healing it can work better than drugs if properly done as James 5: 15 says, “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.”
Euchomai was the Lord Jesus Christ’s main kind of prayer because he always knew His father’s will which He declared He had come to do in Hebrews 10:9. Did you hear how briefly but powerfully He prayed to raise Lazarus from the dead? He just said, “Father I thank thee that thou hast heard me…And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus come forth.” He began by thanking God for an accomplished work even before Lazarus was raised because in the mind of faith prayers are already answered even before words are voiced as the will of God is definitely known. Jesus had already said Lazarus’ sickness was not unto death so even though he did die He did not stagger in unbelief but went and raised him up. If it were you how long and how frantically would you pray to raise Lazarus from the dead?  There is another important thing you should know about the prayer of faith. It is that it is not only a prayer of calling upon God to fulfill His will in your situations. In some cases it is directed towards the devil or the unpleasant circumstances contradicting the will of God in your life. You can command Satan to leave your presence or you can rebuke the unfriendly forces. A wonderful example is recorded in Mark 4 where Jesus rebuked the boisterous wind and commanded the sea to be calm. In this case He did not call upon the father to intervene because He knew that His father’s will was for them not to perish so He restrained the opposing forces. The fact that He spoke peace to prevail and it did was evidence enough that the Father’s was their safety. However, it was the team’s responsibility to resist the devil. No wonder why when finally there was a great calm the Lord had to rebuke his disciples for being cry babies instead of praying the prayer of faith.
Stop being a cry baby and boldly address that sickness. Stop all that whining and complaining and restrain the devil. Command in faith the spirits of discord in your relationships and lack in your in house to vamoose. Remember to remain calm, undisturbed and unruffled as you pray the prayer of faith in perilous times because serenity and restfulness is the conducive atmosphere in which to offer the prayer of faith. Jesus was fast asleep in spite of the boisterous wind and waves threatening to sink the boat. Since He is our master let us follow His example.
