“Since we are Timcon Africa our aim is to enlarge our business so that we cover many parts of Africa. Our continent is still developing and construction is still a big business. South Africa and Botswana are our next targets,” Moyo said.

The businessman, who is also a part-time musician, said that the company’s flexible and good workmanship had won the hearts of many people.

“We have done so many projects in and around Harare, the Grain Marketing Board Pension Fund Borrowdale project with more than 27 units. We have also been involved in a number of projects and construction works of so many villas and houses in Borrowdale, Chishawasha, Glenforest and Crowhill,” he said.

He said the company had the capacity to handle bigger projects as evidenced by how it was managing at least seven projects at a time.

Commenting on the steel and timber business unit, Moyo said: “We cut timber in Nyanga and we supply all over the country. We also sell steel and hardware products. We also supply safety wear to companies like ZINWA and many more. We produce an average of 500 cubic meters of sawn structural timber on a monthly basis”.
