World’s most expensive footballer Neymar loving life at Paris Saint-Germain

Neymar is on fire.

Neymar is on fire.

NEYMER admits he is thoroughly enjoying his new life with Paris Saint-Germain following another standout performance from the Brazilian on Sunday.

PSG romped to a 6-2 victory over Toulouse at the weekend, with Neymar twice getting on the scoresheet to take his tally to three goals in two games since his world-recrod €222 million move from Barcelona.

And Neymar, who showed plenty of crowd-pleasing tricks and flicks during Sunday’s Parc des Princes mauling, admitted he is settled in well in the city and is relishing his new challenge with PSG.

“I am very happy with the man-of-the-match trophy, for the second week in a row, but above all, I’m happy with the team performance. The fans are amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic and I am very happy with how I’ve been welcomed here. Tonight was a really good night,” he said after the game.

PSG head coach Unai Emery, meanwhile, said he has a positive feeling about the rest of the season and applauded his team for putting in a solid performance this early in the Ligue 1 campaign.

“I think it was a very positive display of team spirit. We created a lot of chances, tactically we were good and our individuals performed out on the pitch. We don’t want to concede goals at home, but we will continue to learn and improve.

“It’s good for the league and its good for us,” Emery stated.

PSG and Neymar will hope to continue their fine form in their next game against St-Etienne at home on Friday. kickoff.com
