Zimbabwe/WB in US$6,6m Covid response deal

ZIMBABWE and the World Bank have signed a US$6,6 million financing agreement for the Zimbabwe Covid-19 Emergency Response Project (ZCERP).

The grant aims to support the deployment and management of Covid-19 vaccines and strengthen health-related systems in Zimbabwe.
“The project (ZCERP) will provide essential resources to support the deployment of vaccines that meet the World Bank’s Vaccine Approval Criteria,” World Bank Country Director for Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, and Malawi, Mara Warwick said.
