THE country’s finest sons and daughters will be honoured next month for their enduring works and legacy at the inaugural All National Excellence Hall of Fame Awards, set to take place at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on June 21.

The prestigious event, which invites public nominations, seeks to celebrate individuals who have distinguished themselves through exceptional contributions in various fields, leaving a lasting mark on the nation’s collective memory.

“The All National Excellence Hall of Fame is proud to announce its upcoming event, where the public will have the opportunity to nominate their heroes and icons who have achieved the greatest level of success in their respective fields,” the awards secretary, Kudzai Mbengeranwa, said.

According to Mbengeranwa, at the event themed “Honouring the Best of the Best,” the public is encouraged to submit nominations for individuals who have made exceptional contributions to society.

“This initiative aims to recognise and celebrate individuals who have become masters of their crafts, leaving an indelible mark on our nation’s history.

“These may include artists, athletes, business leaders, scholars, community champions, or pioneers in any field whose impact resonates at the national level,” she said.

The Hall of Fame is also collaborating with various institutions to ensure that the legacies of Zimbabwe’s greatest achievers are not only celebrated but preserved for future generations.

“We are proud to partner with institutions and organisations that share our vision of preserving our nation’s history and honouring its greatest achievers,” Mbereranwa added.

The awards gala promises to be an evening of inspiration, reflection, and national unity.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to meet nominees, hear their stories, and witness first-hand the unveiling of those who will be inducted into the revered Hall of Fame.”

With anticipation building, organisers are urging Zimbabweans from all walks of life to participate in the nomination process and play a role in shaping the narrative of national greatness.

“We are yet to announce the deadline for nominations, but we encourage early submissions to ensure no deserving individual is overlooked,” Mbengeranwa added.

Meanwhile, the awards organisation recently inked a deal with one of fastest rising public relations and marketing companies – Vastek Africa – as it seeks to dominate the industry.

The 2025 All National Excellence Hall of Fame Awards will mark another chapter in the ongoing effort to recognise excellence and instil a culture of honouring achievement across generations.
