BOTHA Gold Mine has issued a firm and unequivocal rejection of fraud-related allegations circulating in recent media reports, describing them as “false, fictitious and malicious” in a strongly worded press statement released this week.
The company was responding to claims published in online outlets alleging document forgery, unlawful acquisition of mining rights and irregular submissions to authorities; allegations which Botha has categorically dismissed in their entirety. “Botha Gold Mine categorically denies all these claims,” the statement reads, emphasising that the accusations have no factual or legal basis.
