Zambezi magic premieres new hit video’Mukoko’ this Thursday

ZAMBEZI Magic’s hot music show Zim Top Ten will tomorrow premieres the new hit video by Tytan and Ammara Brown song Mukoko.

The video itself has become a social media and internet hit since it was released in the last week or so, and has ‘gone viral’ on Youtube, with well over 139 000  views since it release on March 28.

Now it will feature on the popular  Zim Top Ten show  on DStv’s Zambezi Magic channel 160 for the first time, and will likely pick up an even larger following from existing and new fans. The show will broadcast on Thursdays at 21:30 when it will feature the week’s most popular line-up of songs among Zimbabwean audiences.

Said Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe: “We are always excited when a Zimbabwean performer gets airplay of any kind and the reaction to Mukoko has been huge and positive, so its appearance on Zim Top Ten will take it to yet a new level. As one of DStv’s most popular channels, Zambezi Magic is an ideal showcase for local talent, and they don’t get more talented than Tytan and  Ammara Brown, a former Idols Africa finalist. Let’s hope its success grows bigger as the days and weeks roll by.”

Mukoko is an intensely flirtatious love song between two single people. Tytan plays the man in search of a Mukoko (entry to a honey comb) while Ammara plays the Mukoko declaring she’s much more than the average girl and inviting him to taste and treasure it. Written by both performing artists, it is also produced by Jusa dementor. Due to be a part of Ammara’s upcoming album “Ammartia”, this dance tune is contagious and is sure to get Afro-pop fans on the their feet.
