ECOBANK Legends Night once again underscored its immense popularity over the weekend, as the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) filled to capacity with music lovers eager to relive the country’s timeless classics.

Curated by Intotal Band, the event has cultivated a loyal following, buoyed by its distinctive format that rekindles cherished musical memories.

Taking centre stage, Intotal Band — renowned for its ability to breathe new life into classic hits — delivered a stirring tribute to local legends, performing songs that resonated across generations.

From the opening set, the audience was fully immersed, singing along and dancing to enduring classics by icons such as Oliver Mtukudzi, Simon Chimbetu and Tongai Moyo, among others.

The connection between performers and audience was palpable, with each rendition sparking waves of nostalgia and excitement throughout the auditorium.

The evening reached a thrilling crescendo when Iyasa joined Intotal Band on stage, injecting their trademark energy and choreography into the showcase.

Together, they delivered a powerful rendition of Banolila, a standout moment that electrified the packed HICC.

Fans rose to their feet, singing at full voice and dancing in unison, transforming the auditorium into a pulsating celebration.

What stood out across the night was the band’s ability to honour the integrity of the original compositions while infusing them with renewed vibrancy.

Their polished musicianship, complemented by Iyasa’s theatrical flair, created a rich and memorable live experience.

Adding to the night’s highlights was a captivating performance by Cool Crooners, who took fans down memory lane with their timeless hit Bulugwe, drawing warm appreciation from the crowd.

With a full house, an engaged audience and performances of the highest calibre, Legends Night lived up to its billing.

More than a concert, it was a poignant reminder of Zimbabwe’s enduring musical legacy, vividly brought to life.
